This is a build in WoW Cataclysm Beta that is an Assassination spec leveling build for rogues.  This build may change by the time Cataclysm is officially released so bookmark this page and check back with us for the latest Cataclysm Rogue builds.  This build focuses on dagger usage.

Remember, in Wow Cataclysm, rogue leveling is different.  There is a max of only 41 talent points.  31 points will hit the highest skill in your tree, 41 will max a tree.  In WoW Cataclysm, rogues at level 10 will be given a choice of which spec tree they want to level.  You have to stay in that tree till you achieve the top talent in that tree.  Only then can you branch out to other trees and spend your 10 additional spec points.

You also get a Mastery bonus from your trainer once you achieve your top talent in your tree.  This is a reward for Rogues for leveling a tree to the top!

• 3/3 – Coup de Grace

• 3/3 -  Puncturing Wounds

• 2/2 – Blackjack

• 1/1 – Cold Blood

• 2/2 – Deadly Brew

• 3/3 – Vile Poisons

• 2/2 – Seal Fate

• 3/3 – Deadened Nerves

• 1/1 – Overkill

• 2/2 – Murderous Intent

• 1/2 – Expose Armor

• 3/3 – Cut to the Chase

• 2/2 – Venomous Wounds

• 1/1 – Vendetta

What To Do With You next 10 Rogue Spec Points

Where you go from here is up to you.  There is much debate on whether to max out the Assassination talent tree or to put the points into other trees.  Remember, there is a mastery bonus for the Assassination tree, so putting your points there wouldnt hurt.  For this leveling build however, we put our points in other trees.
