Inscription is the newest prof in wow intro’d in 3.0.2. What inscription does is allows the crafter to change the mechanics of a spell by crafting scrolls and create glyphs that are attached to your spell book. Inscription is quite tedious as items turn yellow from orange in 5 levels, so to level efficiently you need to change what yo uare making every 5 levels usually,  so be prepared.  There is also Milling; which is a sub skill of inscription which produces reagents from herbs, you dont need to mill to level but it does produce many of the ingredients you need which can be quite expensive if you decide to buy them from the ah. Remember: you need to have the latest wotlk to be able to learn inscription.

Read these Notes First: I have chosen only orange items to level to 450 as fast as possible.  A lot of the glyphs only last for 5 levels so that is why the recipe list is so long.  Inscription gets a bit tedious as you are changing the recipe every 5 levels so you can usually see what glyph or scroll turns orange at each level, this guide can be used as a reference as you go along.  You need to mill many herbs to create the mats so mill any herbs you can at the arppropriate levels.  You dont need to mill to level however, you can buy milled items off of the ah which might be quite expensive….  Check out the gold-secrets guide if you need more money.  If you have any suggestions for this guide send us a shout at webmaster@wrathsecrets.com.  If you are doing this to make more money be SUUURE to check out this gold-secrets guide. Apprentice (1-75)

Learn apprentice inscription.  Get all the available recipes and buy a [Virtuoso Inking Set].  A list of trainers can be found at the bottom of the page. Also learn milling and mill herbs when you need them.

1- 35 Make 35 [Scroll of Intellect]

• Use:  35x [Ivory Ink], 35x [Light Parchment]

35-75 Make 30 [Armor Vellum]

• Use: 30x [Moonglow Ink], 30x [Light Parchment]

At 75 Create 1 Minor Inscription Research (this has a 20hour cooldown)

• Use 1x [Moonglow Ink] ,2x [Light Parchment]

75-80 Make 5 [Midnight Ink]

• Use 10x [Dusky Pigment]

Journeyman (80-150)

• Learn journeyman inscription.  The list of trainers is listed below.

80-90 Make 10 of any one of these [Glyph of Backstab] [Glyph of Frost Nova] [Glyph of Hunter's Mark] [Glyph of Power Word: Shield] [Glyph of Rejuvenation] [Glyph of Spiritual Attunement]  They all require the same mats so its up to you.

• Use 10x [Midnight Ink] and 10x [Light Parchment]

90-100  Make 10 of any one of these glyphs:  [Glyph of Hammer of Justice] [Glyph of Ice Armor] [Glyph of Maul] [Glyph of Serpent Sting]
