Tailoring Quick Tips, Advice, and Tricks!
- Make sure you obtain bag patterns right away! This is the best bet in tailoring to make some money because they are by far the most popular item. Every player needs bags and the quickest and easiest way for them to get them is on the Auction house. Here is the list of bags available for you to create. [Linen Bag] (6 slots), [Woolen Bag] (8 slots), [Small Silk Pack] (10 slots), [Mageweave Bag] (12 slots), [Runecloth Bag] (14 slot), [Mooncloth Bag] (16 slot), [Netherweave Bag] (16 slot), [Imbued Netherweave Bag] (18 slot), [Primal Mooncloth Bag] (20 slot), [Frostweave Bag] (20 slot).
- Once you hit 350 you will be able to make [Primal Mooncloth], [Spellcloth] and [Shadowcloth]. The mats cost a lot but you will be able to make at least 50 gold on each item once you have made them. If you need to get more gold for the mats check out this gold guide. We have a review here.
- When you start out as a tailor, get everything you can out of making bolts of linen cloth and save them! You will need tons of these so you might as well make them now while you can gain levels out of them, I would make them until they go grey. This way you are stocking up your reserve and gaining levels.
- Creating non rare items, (white) will lose you money and should not be put on ah as they can not be disenchanted and there is no need for them by other tailors as they can make them themselves.
- As I said earlier about the bolts of linen cloth yo ushould make bolts of whatever cloth it may be when you can level it. This is because you need tons of them later and you might as well make them while you can gain levels out of them.
