Let’s get something dead straight before we start.

I hate Warcraft guides and their so called promises . I hate them more than you do, and I always have.

Really, I do. And if you give me a few seconds I will tell you why.

But first, let’s start with how I got here, and why I’m writing this…

It must have been about three weeks ago now, I was browsing the web when I got an e-mail from a friend raving about this WoW leveling guide called “Joana’s 1-70 and 70-80 Horde Leveling Guide”, by who else, Joana.

Now, my friend is actually someone whose opinion I trust, which is the only reason I clicked on the link in the first place. And here I am…

“But why do I hate those damn warcraft guides with a manic passion…”

Well, let me explain. I am an avid WoW gamer, and I spend close to 6 hours a day on WoW servers (grinding for gear and making tons of gold). In short, I know what I am doing (in fact, if you play WoW, there is a good chance you have seen me around on the servers I play on!).

But, I have never been a big fan of world of warcraft guides – for me, having a guide tell me things I already know does not excite me one bit. What it does do, though, is sound good on paper… and lots of noobs see “level fast and get gold quick!”, and think “wow! I need gold and levels!, here are my credit card details”.

Then, the same guys who buy the WoW guide realize that all the information they paid for, they already know – only after wasting their cash on the guide… and then, the next guide comes out and the cycle repeats itself…

Great for the guys who made the guide – pretty crappy for the poor noob who bought it.

So, you can imagine my thoughts when I got my friend’s e-mail recommending Joana’s 1-70 and 70-80 Power Leveling Guide. As I say, it was only because he was an Elite WoW friend from my guild that I even clicked away.

When I reached the Joana’s website, I was actually pretty impressed with the information, and even more impressed with some of the features that this appears to have – full video of this char leveling?, nice feature…

But, again, I have to be honest with you…,

At this point, I still thought to myself, “nice copy, lots of features, this will do well for leveling my alternate characters… but yet again, it just is not going to be much better than how I already play… so forget it“.

And that was that; I left the site… but a few weeks later my friend e-mailed me, letting me know he had used the guide to level up a few alternate characters and had 4 new characters at level 80!. He also said that I needed to drop what I was doing and get the guide. So, I spent the excess in my Paypal account and half-heartedly purchased my copy of Joana’s 1-70 and 70-80 Power Leveling Guide.

Just so you know, I only purchased because… well, I was honestly frustrated with taking 17 days playing time to level up my Toons, and I was about to start doing research on how I could level up faster when my friend started up again – in fact he pestered the hell out of me to get using the guide once I had it!

So, I decided to give him a chance, and make full use of Joana’s Guide… so I sat down for an hour to play around with the new guide…

But an hour wasn’t enough…

Ok… The team at WrathSecrets.com have been power leveling and reviewing guides since the very beginning of World of Warcraft when we only had to level to 60 in 4 days lol.  These days it takes a lot more time unfortunately but we still do it and love it!  We have produced many sites involving power leveling secrets and have learned a lot of the ins and outs over the years.  We know what we are doing and we know what is good when it comes to leveling guides.

Now lets start with the new and fully revamped Zygors Power Leveling Automated Guide.  We say automated because it is basically a walk-through the game and a personal guide.  It directs you with an arrow from the very starting point, whether you are a death knight or night-elf, to the very end.  No longer are you on your own lost path, now you have direction.  If you dont have this guide you are unfortunately truly at a disadvantage.

After reviewing Zygors site I knew this product was not a fake, there are screen shots of the actual leveling times, and those cannot be faked.  I even verified these leveling times with the characters themselves.

We had heard about Zygors guides before, but they were an up and coming guide system, but when they added the WotLK content with Death Knight Guide we jumped onboard to test this out, we soon found out why this guide is the top notch guide out there.

I wouldn’t even consider that Zygors 1-80 Power Leveling Automated Guide is just a guide, nor add-on.  This is a leveling 100% legal PROGRAM, designed to give you the most enjoyable and fast leveling experience out there.

Look at this pic.  As you can see, one of the features with Zygors 1-80 Guide is the famous arrow.  No matter what level you are, whether it be level 1 or 39, whenever you load up the guide, you will get an arrow showing you the exact path ALL THE WAY TO LEVEL 80!   Its almost unfair!  Click for more info.

This is an amazing guide that can be downloaded immediately and used at any level, even if you are level 70!  The ammount of time you save is ridiculous compared to using no guide or free guides.

Zygor has really produced what is the ultimate and best leveling guides.  All the other guides are working very hard to catch up to the innovative pathing and easy flow of this guide.  This guide is ahead of its time.  Overall, Zygors guide is the best guide for Horde and Alliance, all classes and starting zones, including the Death Knight!

Joana’s 1-80 Horde Power Leveling Guide Review

Joanas 1-80 Horde Guide

Joana has just released the addition to the famous 1-70 guide that was so popular: Joanas 1-80 Horde Power Leveling Guides.  Joana is probably the most famous power level as Joana set the 1-60 world record for SOLO leveling.  Athene has a record but that was not solo.

Note: This guide is only for the horde so if you are Alliance you are kind of out of luck.

We have had much history with the 1-60 guide and needed to see how fast the new 60-70 and 70-80 guides are.  The results were…. interesting.

We were pleasantly surprised.  Joanas leveling times to 80 were quite fast overall for the horde and the guide now offers an in game system as well. (see below)

Although not as easy flowing as Zygors 1-80 Power Leveling Automated Guide, Joanas guide did offer a few benefits that you should know of.

If you want to be an orc or troll hunter, this is the fastest guide for you.  Overall Zygors 1-80 Power Leveling Automated Guide was faster, but for HORDE troll and orc hunters Joana actually produced faster results.

As you can see, Joana also offers an in-game guide so you dont have to print anything out or alt tab back and forth to your desktop.  This is a nice feature, although buggy at times, does work.

This guide also offers many videos of Joanas actual leveling through the game, which is unique to this game.  I personally want to get right to it instead of watching videos of someone else doing it, but it does help if you are stuck in an area.

Overall, this is NOT the fastest horde guide, but IS the fastest HORDE HUNTER guide.  Obviously this is still a very good guide but overall doesnt offer the same result as zygors.

The Conclusion?

After all this testing, our conclusion is this:  If you want the fastest, most fun, best flowing power leveling guide out there, you HAVE to get Zygor’s 1-80 Alliance and Horde Automated Leveling Guide.  Not only is this guide the best, it is also cheaper than Joanas, Joana is more famous and mainly relies on that to generate popularity.

Don’t get us wrong, Joana’s Horde Leveling Guide does work, and is the fastest option for orc and troll hunters, but we had already had some experience with the guide and that may have helped our leveling times..  Also, Joana only offers Horde leveling routes..

So thats it… If you want the unfair advantage of leveling to 80 almost automatically to raid and pvp with your friends, go ahead and instantly download Zygor’s 1-80 Alliance and Horde Automated Leveling Guide.  The guide is so good it is offered risk free.

So, which guide is the fastest.  To test this out we had to do it right.  We had numerous volunteer speed levelers test out each guide.  We had a leveler level up each class in horde and alliance for Zygors Guide and Team IDemise, for Joana’s guide we only needed horde leveler as Joana is a Horde only guide (we cover that issue later).

According to their sites:

• Zygors Guide offers 1-80 in less than 8 days. 
• Joana’s Guide doesn’t specifically say other than 1-60 in 4d20h, 60-70 below 2d and 70-80 below 2 days.  So added up 8 days 20 hours.
• Team IDemise clains you can do it in 6 days 5 hours.

So what were the results??

So in all: 9 levelers going from 1-80 5 times, 1 for each faction of each guide, 2 alliance, and 3 horde.  9 levelers to level all 9 classes of each faction.

As you can see by looking at the average row on the right, that both Zygors Horde and Alliance Guides had the fastest overall average leveling times from level 1-80 at around 7 days and 20 hours.  This is very good as they promote their guide at reaching 80 just below 8 days. 

Team IDemise Guide is quite off their clain of 6 days and 5 hours as the average leveling time was 8 days 10 hours.

Joana’s guide is an interesting find.  Joana is probably the most famous for leveling times, but as you can see from the data only the hunter and shamans were leveled the fastest.  Overall though, Zygors Horde and Alliance Guides proved to have faster times for the horde except in the case of Hunters and Shamans.

Conclusion and First Points Awarded

So as you can see Zygors Automated Alliance and Horde 1-80 Leveling guide has the fastest overall leveling times.  It offers both a horde and alliance guide and levels all classes to level 80 below 8 days.  I also appreciate how their website offers honest time results, this honesty is seen through-out their reviw as well.

Joana should not be excluded as an honorable mention as the leveling times for a horde hunter and shaman were among the very fastest.  Our leveling times to 80 were faster than those posted on Joanas site although they were quite vague.

Team IDemise produced the slowest results.  Now by slow, it is still fast in comparison to leveling without a guide or with a free guide, but slower than the guides tested.

And now we hand out the points:

For producing the fastest overall horde and alliance leveling guide Zygors Automated Alliance and Horde 1-80 Leveling guide gets 10/10 points and wins the GOLD in the first round.

For producing the fastest leveling time for 2 classes and the 2nd overall horde leveling time to 80 guide, Joanas Horde 1-80 Leveling Guide gets 7/10 points.

Team Idemise Alliance and Horde 1-80 Leveling Guide gets a 5/10, 5 because of the slow times in comparison and because the times were slower than what they advertised. 

So after 1 round the results are as Follows

• Zygors Automated Alliance and Horde 1-80 Leveling guide leads with 10 points
• Joanas Horde 1-80 Leveling Guide second with 7
• Team Idemise Alliance and Horde 1-80 Leveling Guide 3rd place 5points.
