NEW CHANGES TO WARRIOR: With Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) came changes to the Warrior Class.

• The warrior received a different ability with Battle Shout.  The Battle Shout will now effect the whole raid, not just the party.  This will be very useful come raiding time!
• Warriors also have new talents!  Titan’s Grip is a new fury talent which allows the warrior to hold two-handed weapons in each hand.  Shockwave is available to protection warriors which damages and stuns all monsters standing in front of them.  There is also a new Arms talent called Bladestorm which spins and hits all the enemies around you every few seconds.
• Blizzard is also improving the Protection spec so that it is more viable outside of tanking by increasing damage, with improvements to Heroic Strike, Revenge, and Shockwave. Shield Slam will also be available to all Warriors. (more…)

As you all may have heard.  Athene of Youtube fame has recently broken powerleveling records of 1-70 1-60 and 60-70.  I have been a fan of Athene for a while now and find his videos amusing.  While I do believe he is a great WoW player you have to understand that a lot of what he says is a personality he has created for YouTube fame.  Athene has been trying for a while now for fame as he has applied for many reality shows and was actually on the BigBrother show for his country.  (more…)

Upcoming AoE DPS Changes in WotLK WoW

There is definitely a lot of AE (area effect damage) going on in World of Warcraft dungeon runs at the moment. We’re not too worried about it for now – on the contrary it’s nice to see so many people doing the level-up dungeons on the way to level 80. If we find that AE tank + AE damage strategy (with no sheeping, sapping or other crowd control) is the only way people are running heroics and raids, then we’ll probably make some changes, but for now we’re content to just see what happens. The world famous Joana has just released a 70-80 speed leveling guide.  Joana is famous for setting records in leveling from 1-60 and then 60-70 in the Burning Crusade!  This new guide willl surely be the fastest and I am definately gonna pick one up.  I want to be one of the first to 80!  I used Joanas guides before and they are really good.  Check out her Guide here before its too late!
