Exploring Naxxramas in WotLK Wrath of the Lich King

Naxxramas, the floating necropolis floating over Dragonblight has been moved to Northrend in the WotLK Wrath of the Lich King expansion. It has also been redesigned in 10 and 25-man raids. There are four different wings too that need to be cleared in order to give way to the fifth and final wing. It is now the level 80 introductory dungeon. Welcome to the 1-450 WotLK updated World of Warcraft JewelCrafting Leveling Guide!  This guide is not going to explain the details oh how to jewelcraft or what it is.  What you will learn from this guide is the recipes and items you need to make to level as quickly as possible in jewelcrafting using the least ammount of mats (materials).

Jewelcrafting recipes are also called Designs, are used by Jewelcrafters to learn to create rings, necklaces, trinkets, and also cut gems which can be set into sockets on armor and weapons.  You can buy most designs from a vendor, but some can be looted or obtained as a prize from a quest.

Hey there.  A lot of people have had trouble installing their addons for windows vista.  In the old days in XP you could find world of warcraft under your program files.  The path to extract your addons is different now however with Windows Vista.

The New Path is  C:   ->   Users   ->   Public   ->   Games   ->   World of Warcraft   ->   Interface   ->   AddOns

Hopefully this saves you some time in frustration at Vista again lol!

The New Face of the Shaman in Wrath of the Lich King

The new expansion to World of WarCraft – Wrath of the Lich King is finally here and offers more in-depth play with a slew of exciting new features and new areas to explore. Not only are there tons of great additions and balance changes, but some characters have undergone transformations like the Shamans. These changes were necessary to increase the appeal of shamans, as they were one of the least played characters amongst World of WarCraft players.

World of Warcraft WotLK – Inscription Profession

The release of WoW’s ‘Wrath of the Lich King‘ expansion has brought with it a great new profession to learn – Inscription.

The basis of the Inscription profession is that your character collects various herbs that will combine to create different types of ink. The different types of ink and pigments you create combined with parchments make up your different glyphs.

Inscribers learn to create Glyphs that can be used as enhancements to various spells or racial abilities. For example, minor glyphs could improve cosmetic items or your increase your abilities temporarily, like added intelligence or increased agility, which may replace the need certain other spell reagents. Here is a list on some of the latest Death Knight builds out there for wotlk.  Of course the death knight has not been around for that long so these tree builds will change over time.   You may also want to tweak one aspect of the Death knight build go right ahead.  Make sure to contact us if you want to add your own death knight talent tree as well!  Death Knights have three trees:  Blood, which mainly focuses on physical-damage dealing abilities.  Frost, which uses a lot of spells and control, this one is also good for bursts of critical damage.  The final death knight tree is the Unholy Tree, which has summons, diseases and is a pretty good pvp tree.  You can use this talent calulator to come up with your own build or check out the different abilities. So you want to be a leatherworker huh? well we have a guide for you.  Leatherworking is one of the primary professions in which you can only have two of.

Leatherworking in wow and wotlk uses the hides found from the skinning prof. so its not a bad idea to be a leatherworker and skinner.  We also have a skinning guide that can be found here.   Armor produced by Leatherworking is used by leather- and mail-wearing classes: Druids, Hunters, Shamans, and Rogues.

Once you hit the higher levels there are three specialised Leatherworking areas you can work with.  The three specialties are: Dragonscale Leatherworking, Elemental Leatherworking, or Tribal Leatherworking. (more…)

NEW CHANGES TO WARRIOR: With Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK) came changes to the Warrior Class.

• The warrior received a different ability with Battle Shout.  The Battle Shout will now effect the whole raid, not just the party.  This will be very useful come raiding time!
• Warriors also have new talents!  Titan’s Grip is a new fury talent which allows the warrior to hold two-handed weapons in each hand.  Shockwave is available to protection warriors which damages and stuns all monsters standing in front of them.  There is also a new Arms talent called Bladestorm which spins and hits all the enemies around you every few seconds.
• Blizzard is also improving the Protection spec so that it is more viable outside of tanking by increasing damage, with improvements to Heroic Strike, Revenge, and Shockwave. Shield Slam will also be available to all Warriors. (more…)
