Saronite Bombs do NOT work to level up to 450 as this author mentioned.

I found this to be, overall, quite useful in power leveling. I sometimes had to work around it (using a different item than the Land Mine, for instance), but the only major problem I’ve found is the last two steps. The Saronite Bomb no longer exists as such, but, what is worse, is that the Global Thermal Sapper Charge is a Goblin Engineering-only recipe. Being a Gnomish Engineer myself, I’m forced to look for other items. Perhaps the leveling guide should either state this requirement or, earlier on, recommend becoming a Goblin, instead of Gnomish, Engineer. (Not that I would have, but other people might.)

I’d just like to say that this was working out fine until the goblin land mine popped up! Thanks for making me buy the mats of something I cannot use. Now I would have to level fishing and hope it drops for me. FFS get ur shit together.. make a BASIC power leveling guide ffs.

After following this guide for the first 100 or so levels, it is clear to me that the author of this engineering power level guide uses rare drop patterns that aren’t easy to come by in quite a few sections which makes for a rather difficult move to follow. For example, the ‘Field Repair Bot 110G’ is a 1% drop rate and doesn’t come cheap at the Auction House.

A good attempt at a guide, but I’m going to have to stop following it because I simply can’t afford to buy or grind the patterns that he/she is using to write this.

As of 3.1.+, the Saronite Bomb is found inside the Box of Bombs and no longer provides skill ups. This guide will need something else to instruct on raising skill to 450 (preferably without using the expensive and various goggle recipes).
